Information on conformity according to the Accessibility Act
We strive to make our website accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act as amended, implementing the European Accessibility Directive (Directive 2019/882) pertaining to accessibility requirements for products and services.
In doing so, we have complied with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 to the greatest extent possible.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not barrier-free for the following reasons:
Incompatibility with accessibility regulation:
PDF and other Office documents:
PDF documents that are not yet accessible are available for download on the website. If you need help with non-accessible PDF documents, please contact nfkrchnwrt-gnt
In this case, we will try to make the content available to you as far as possible in a suitable manner.
Videos (subtitles recorded):
Videos are integrated via external hosting providers (YouTube, Vimeo). Some recorded videos are missing subtitles, making spoken content unavailable to deaf users. Therefore, WCAG success criterion 1.2.2 (subtitles recorded) is not met. We plan to provide more subtitles when producing new videos.
Pictures:
The alternative texts for images are sometimes not optimally chosen and we are working on making all images with alternative texts accessible to screen reader users.
Disproportionate burden:
For economic and organizational reasons, it is currently not yet possible to make older PDF documents and Office documents (etc.) accessible.
In addition, it is not possible to provide the videos in sign language.
These contents do not fall within the scope of the applicable legal provisions:
Older documents and content that are not accessible are available on the website. As these were published before 28.06.2025, they are excluded from the Accessibility Act and no comprehensive changes are currently planned for them.
The website contains documents and content from third-party providers that are neither developed nor financed or controlled by us. This applies in particular to:
- the integrated online booking and room inquiry modules from "Weratech", which is provided by GASTROdat GmbH
- the integrated hotel ratings of HolidayCheck and Tripadvisor
- the integration of Panomax webcams
No statement can be made regarding the compatibility of this third-party content with the accessibility regulations and it is therefore also exempt from the requirements of the Accessibility Act.
