Schneebärenland is a ski alliance located close to our hotel.
5 ski mountains, famous for their family-friendliness and warm hospitality. Magnificent pistes and modern lifts guarantee all the variety you could wish for.
The stop for the ski bus is right outside our hotel.
The bus will take you free of charge to the Planneralm in Donnersbach and to the Riesneralm in Donnersbachwald.
4-Mountain Ski Area
The 4-Mountain Ski Area - which includes the Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm - offers virtually limitless skiing enjoyment on 125 kilometers of pistes.
The easternmost gateway, the Hauser Kaibling, is 35 kilometers from our hotel and easy to reach by car. The other mountains can easily be discovered on skis.
A wide selection of mountain huts insures you will have plenty of choices whenever it's time to take a break and enjoy a bite to eat.
Cross-Country Skiing
The Nordic Center features 4- to 6-meters-wide trails, beautifully maintained, leading from the Putterersee in the direction of Lantschern - Gatschen -
Schloss Pichlarn - Pürglitz, and finally to the gym in Irdning.
With a total length of 18 km, you can ski using classic as well as "skating" technique.
Ice Skating on Putterersee
For a fun change of pace, how about a spot of ice skating on the Putterersee, which lies only a few minutes' walk from our hotel.
Because it is a natural ice rink, it depends on us having true winter weather. But if that's the case, it's a great place to show off your ice-skating skills.
For a relaxed evening activity, you might wish to try your hand at a game of "ice stock" on our very own rink. Or how about a romantic ride on a horse-drawn sleigh?
