Dining Rooms
Our restaurant actually consists of several different areas that are very different in terms of size and character. This variety has been made possible by a new addition as well as preservation of the original building. The interplay of modern and traditional elements adds to the warmth and charm of the dining experiences we are able to offer.
Our banquet hall - an all-rounder
The banquet hall is a great example of our concept - uniting modern with traditional - comfortable, friendly, adaptable to a variety of demands. The full room seats up to 200 guests, though it can also be reconfigured to meet whatever your needs happen to be.
Thanks to intelligent room partitioning and amenities, wedding guests feel just as comfortable here as seminar participants or dance students. In combination with our appealing hotel rooms and the high-quality cuisine of our à la carte restaurant, we are proud to offer you the perfect package for your special event.
The Schmiedstüberl - in touch with our roots
This dining room has a warm, rustic character. The dark wood harmonizes with bright, friendly furnishings - a cozy space where guests love to while away the hours.
The name "Schmiedstüberl" is actually a reference to the family's own smithy, which is located directly opposite. This dining room seats up to 36 people and is non-smoking.
On the terrace - in all weather
Directly next to the banquet hall and restaurant area is a big terrace, which can be used in any weather thanks to movable glass elements.
It is also very popular as an extension to the banquet hall. From the terrace, you can also keep a close eye on your children out on the playground.
"Die Schank" – where guests love to sit
"Die Schank" and bar area is a popular gathering spot for locals especially.
A piece of living culture in its own right, an important part of any small town such as ours. But even seminar participants feel right at home here during their breaks between presentations.
Homebase of Traditional Folk Groups
Even in the face of the many renovations at Kirchenwirt Aigen in recent years, we are especially delighted that we continue to serve as a "homebase" for many local folk and heritage groups. We are honored to be a part of our community's vibrant cultural life.
Many of Aigen's heritage societies host meetings and special events in the banquet hall or other rooms we have provided for them. Painting courses, training classes for young hunters, dance classes of all kinds and much more are also offered in our different meeting spaces.
